Back to: Infection Control for Dental Offices
Your instructor for this required training is ‘B.C.’ Nelson, DDS. After studying at Baylor College of Dentistry, ‘B.C.’ Nelson, DDS, graduated in 1990, and has practiced dentistry for over 30 years. He is currently licensed in the State of Oregon.
As you are aware, the State of Oregon requires all dentists, dental hygienists, and other medical personnel to participate in 2 hours of continuing education on infection control every 2 years. This online course will take about 2 hours to complete and can be broken down into sessions. If 2 hours of infection control is a bit much for you, this course is divided into 5 modules: Introduction, Bacteria, Viruses, Standard Precautions and Best Practices, and Conclusion. You will want to make a note of which module you are in so that you can pick up where you left off at a later time. Finally, there will be a quiz in the last module to test your knowledge, and you will receive a certificate of completion to keep for your records.
Let’s get started.
