MRA™ Technology
Problem:
The problem with the current cleaning methods is two fold:
1. The delivery method-employee dependant and incomplete (spray bottle/rag)
2. The cleaning agent is not killing at a high enough level (even though it may say so on the bottle)
The Ultra-D Solution:
The Magnetic Resolution Activation (MRA™) disinfection process, patent pending by ADTec, kills microorganisms on surfaces at a 99.9999% level and higher without leaving residue, damaging surfaces or electronics. The ADTech Ultra-D dry fog equipment aspirates dust sized droplets in high volumes for complete kill on all exposed surfaces.
This is not a quaternary based cleaner. Quaternary based cleaners can kill the easy microorganisms, but have poor results against harder microorganisms and spores. Don’t be fooled by 5 Log claims on simple bacteria, the real proof is what they do against harder challenges like spores, which most methods achieve between 1 and 2 Log. Simple soap and water can yield a 5 Log kill on most Staph. The system leaves no residue on surfaces as all quaternary cleaners do, which over time, will damage surfaces and build up to levels that can cause allergic reactions to some employees.
Quatenary Ammonium Chlorides ('quats'): the least toxic disinfectant but still can cause allergic reactions, burns to skin and mucous membranes and is a known asthmagen. Not effective against nonenveloped viruses and is rapidly inactivated by surfactants found in ordinary detergents. Toxic to fish. Ineffective against virulent spores like Clostridium difficile. "Quats" are known to promote drug resistant strains in bacteria such as staphylococci.
The MRA™ technology employs Hydroxyls to effectively kill microorganisms by oxidation reduction (REDOX) reactions. REDOX reactions physically break through microorganism cell walls and destroy DNA. REDOX reactions do not pass over “Rambo bugs” that will mutate into resistant strains. Hydroxyls are the strongest REDOX agent that are practical (Fluorine is stronger but is highly toxic)
The MRA™ Fluid Solution - a mixture of Hydrogen Peroxide (under 8%), water and proprietary activators - is pumped through an Ultrasonic Nebulizer producing an atomized mist, expelled into a delivery tube and then passes through the delivery tube activated by the MRA™ patent pending process to produce a REDOX mist expelled into the disinfection area. The REDOX mist diffuses to fill an enclosed area and attaches to objects throughout the disinfection area.
The REDOX mist kills microorganisms on contact by lysing cell walls. Lysing refers to the death of a cell by breaking of the cellular membrane, often by viral or osmotic mechanisms that compromise its integrity. After about two (2) seconds, the REDOX mist recombines into environmentally friendly water and oxygen, leaving no residue.
